Tipp 10 nailed it; but you might consider Heb. 1:13,14.
Here it becomes clear that the devil, who was over all the angels, was actually created to lead all the ministering spirits who were to serve the elect. That puts him in a position as chief minister, chief worship leader and chief song leader.
He is a religious spirit and works, even today, as the chief religious spirit in the world with complete understanding of how to cater to man's built in need to worship and sing praises. As one of the Beatles said: "We are bigger than Jesus Christ."
Talent comes from God. While the devil cannot create and can only pervert in the physical world; he knows how and does orchestrate human talents and emotions. Go through a list of bands, especially heavy metal, and see how many band names and songs these days are actually religious. This didn't just happen, but rather is a rational spiritual event.
I think it safe to say that the devil can be considered the angel of worldly music; even a lot of religious music. Very uplifting to the soul of man, but always as pertains to things worldly.
The bands have their camp followers and the followers and fans live for the band. In musicals he is her answer to all things; and she is his answer to all things. If God gets a mention; it is usually hinted in a few somber words about dust at a funeral scene.
I am sure that the term 'angel of music' came long before the libretto in Phantom. However, I haven't researched it or its connection with the devil in other writings. Interesting question.

I know it was from the computer and there is a big giant article on it and it explains it all, so if I locate it again I will send it to you.

No he is called the Angel of Light! Second Corinthians said, at 11:14 ' And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an ANGEL OF LIGHT. 15 It is there for nothing great if his ministers ALSO keep transforming themselves into ministers of RIGHTEOUSNESS! BUT their end shall be according to their works.
