I think you only get a cable to connect it to your computer. One connected to the computer, it will automatically charge your ipod. :)

You get a charger. The charger is simply a usb cable. You use the same cable to transfer music to your iPod. You can only charge your iPod from your computer with this. They do make an adapter which plugs into your wall so you can charge your iPod that way. In the package is of course your iPod. Some cheap iPod earphones. A thin case for you iPod (you cannot use your iPod while it's in this case though), I'm not sure if they still do this or not, but an iTunes disk. You do not need this disk because you can download iTunes off the internet.

You only get the usb cable which it charges from while plugged into your computer while it's on. I'd suggest depending on where your going to use it and how much your willing ot spend also buying some other type of charger. There are car chargers, car chargers with fm transmitters (useful if you don't have an mp3 hookup or a cassette player in your car), plain wall chargers, wall chargers that use itips (radio shack sells them) that you buy the piece that plugs into the wall and you can change the tip on it so you can also have one for say your cell phone, psp, ds, ect. and there are other things like the iHome which is a clock that will charge your ipod when it is docked on it and has somewhat decent speakers to listen to your ipod and is also a clock. I have the iHome which I think is great for charging it since I can listen to it while charging without having my comp on and a car charger.

The charger is your USB cable that came with the package. When you connect and sync your player, it charges. Basically, it charges on your computer when it is connected.

If you want a wall charger or car charger, you would need to buy them separately, which sucks. Ha, but that's how most iPods and other players work these days.

It comes with a USB cable to connect it to your computer. When it is connected and your computer is turned on, it allows you to both transfer music and it also charges the iPOD. So, the answer to your question...it does not come with a regular A/C adapter charger, but it DOES come with a WAY to charge it. \

IN PACKAGE:
iPod
Basic Case (nothing great...buy a different one)
USB cable
Earbuds (headphones - not too comfy for most people!)
itunes/installation CD
