Like all the great prophets and teachers, he attracted followers who took his teachings into their lives and followed what they understood to be his guiding principles. Mohammed, like Jesus and the Buddha, had a message that many people found appealing, and that they spread by their own teachings (or by fire and the sword, which is the way the Abrahamaic religions have traditionally found the most pleasurable way to spread their message). All of these great movements have changed the history of the world, although whether that is necessarily a good thing is subject to debate. Temujin, the Great Khan, also changed the history of the world through his message, although his message was much more limited in its scope than Mohammed's.

He was a deluded man that twisted the old testament to appeal to his own people. All his teachings are 400 years after Christ and relay arnt life living teachings . So dint take Islam seriously because there is the truth but not in Islam

Yes, because of his message (Islam) and his theology are different than Christianity and Judaism. It is sad for any religion (Christianity included) to murder and kill in the name of God. In Ireland, for example, Catholics and Protestants have killed thousands in the name of God. Most sadly, just because they have different beliefs?

The Christians and Muslims killed each other during the Crusades and the results were tens of thousands killed and a new shape and formation of the world map.

Understanding and tolerance are the keys; I would love to see tolerance stressed in ALL beliefs and faiths.
