Like the other guy said they are HID lighting which stands for high intensity discharge. They sell kits on Ebay for $135. I have 2 sets one on my car and one on my wifes. They are pretty simple to install. you will have 2 ballasts, 1 relay and 2 bulbs. they make them for any size bulb so just order the kit that fits your socket and it's pretty much plug and play.

.The answer is no.Those headlamp systems on the new luxury cars have special power needs and the bulbs are about 250 dollars apiece. If you need a better bulb for your f150 go to your local auto parts and buy a set of silver star bulbs. This will get you about 50% cleaner lite output and use the same power you have now.Best of luck. You will not believe how well the silver stars work.
