Because Conservatives think that ABC is liberally biased since it's owned by Disney (the liberal elite -- according to them),,so they hate the subjectivity coming from ABC,,although it is the same station that aired "the path to 911" --a docudrama that was certainly NOT liberal friendly. FOX on the other hand has nothing to balance out their far right spins. But the conservatives are too narrow minded to see that and they fall for the FOX's "fair and balanced" pitch. Conservatives take everything at face value without ever questioning or finding the answers to themselves. They like getting spoon fed what they should believe.

Yes, the news programs in the morning and Shepard Smith's reports really are about as fair and balanced as you can get. That's not to say they are completely unbiased. No one can give you a completely neutral report on events. But for the most part, you know when Fox hosts are editorializing. CNN and the others try to pass off editorialization as fact and not opinion. What makes Fox News more 'fair' (since fairness is a purely subjective term) than the other networks is that when O'Reilly, Beck, and Hannity are on, you are made aware that their shows are commentary/opinion shows. Glenn Beck tells his audience several times a week that he is not a journalist. Plus, do you think these guys could get a show on (P)MSNBC? Beck wasn't even allowed on big CNN but had to settle for CNN Headline News which is now a misnomer since it left the 'headlines every half hour format'.

Fox's "news" doesn't disturb me.

It's war with the truth and BLIND backing of an idiot does. Sean Hannity rallying votes for the GOP reminds me of how far Fox will go to make a buck.

Only Judas Iscariot was in the same league.

I object to all editorials that dare to call themselves "news". Unfortunately, too many people consider Bill O'Reilly and Lou Dobbs to be journalists. If everyone would realize that both shows are for entertainment alone and rarely, if ever, contain any real news we'd be much better off.

Good question, and one is far worse and even lies, and they know they are lying! That is how one of their reporters was fired and a judge in Florida said it was OK for Fox to Lie! Look what they did to Dan Rather who screwed up! He didn't intentionally lie! But they had a field day on that one though!

There is news and then there are commentator. Orielly is a no spin libertarian, not a news anchor. Dan Rather actually was happy and elated when he said the vote was in and Gore won, but not very happy when he called it for Bush. If you are a news anchor and want to give it a slant, Do it in the commentary, not in the anchor chair. Why are the 3 major stations and CNN MSNBC all liberal when 50% of the country is conservative.

Why does Fox News's subjectivity disturb liberals but ABC' s subjectivity doesn't?

Boycotts are lame in this situation. I am a conservative and watch FOX, but that is because I find it credible, which it is. I also watch other news, and why in some cases they are liberal biased, they are still credible. Its freedom of speach.

Why should I, a conservative, care if someone wants to watch whatever they want. No to all boycotts.
