Alaska, Pennsylvania, and Hawaii, which would you go to for a vacation and why?

Oregon because I love the coastline. Great tidepools, hiking trails, etc.
Maine because I love everything about it. Beautiful coastline. Quaint coastal towns. Super people.
Montana because there is NOTHING like the Montana night sky.

Texas, California or Florida. Texas has many different types of terrain to see: forests, hills, deserts, plains - you name it. If you decide to come to Texas, plan to spend at least two weeks and travel to different parts of the state to see them. We are also home to Six Flags, the Alamo, the River Walk, NASA, and many other things of interest. Of course, we also have the great coastal areas, Padre Island and the Gulf of Mexico. One could spend an entire week in San Antonio alone and still not visit everything of interest to see. I know, because I've tried it.
California and Florida both have great beaches, Disneyland and/or Disney World. California, due to its size, also has varying terrains. Take a drive through Death Valley, or the San Francisco Bay area. Both are quite an experience. You won't believe they are part of the same state.
I imagine the swamps of Florida are quite a sight to see. The Everglades, I am told, are a unique place to visit. Just watch out for the alligators. And, of course, Florida is also home to Cape Canaveral.
Whatever you do, research them all on-line first and get information from their tourist bureaus.

Well of the 3 mentioned it would be Pennsylvania to visit people I was in the military with.
For thse not on your list I'll be back in Florida in a month to enjoy the Emeral wates of the Gulf Coast.

Any of the New England states for the autumn foliage and the chance to visit Boston; New York to visit New York; California to visit San Francisco; Arizona to visit Grand Canyon; and whichever state Yellowstone park is in!
Oh, and Michigan and Missouri because I have friends there!
