Allright, not all the answers I have gotten have been rude. But it seems to be a theme.

I'm new here so I was wondering. I can understand humor, a but part of my life, but rudness?

Why? Why insult somebody you have never met more that an hour ago?

I am still wondering myself. I have had some sad experiences here dealing with rude or aggressive answers, but overall, this has been a good experience. Most of the time, I ignore them. Ever so often, though, I get one answer that really bugs me. Also, I make sure to answer back. I find that self-righteous answers as the most annoying personally (especially when it is founded on the individual's lack of education and ignorance).

Hi Mark and welcome to P&S. Most everyone is nice, there are however some people that take delight in being rude or mean. If you're gonna hang out here, you've got to put on a tougher suit - you know have thicker skin. Have a great night, and don't give up yet, this is usually a pretty good place to be.

You're going to have to develop a tough skin. There are A LOT of rude people on this forum. The majority are nice and helpful, but it's the rude ones that stand out.

it might not be rudeness, but rather sarcasm, or inside jokes that one needs to spend weeks wasting their life away on here to understand. P&S is perhaps the most humorous and kind section of this entire website. If you want rudeness, try Religion and Spirituality, or Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered

While it is not a requirement, some of the questions are so stupid, it deserves an insulting answer in reply. If you don't want( or can't) deal with it, stay out of P & S.

Just ignore it Mark..........the longer you're on here the more you'll learn to.

Welcome, and don't let it get to you.

A majority of the people on here are terrific and have a great sense of humour. If you want to see real nasty bashing going on then head on over to R & S.

Keep your chin up! =)

Sorry there are a few on here who seem to think it's cool to be rude. Ignore them, most of us are really nice.

No, rudeness isn't cool but having a brain and a sense of humor sure helps.
