Which hotel in Vegas has the best security?

In a couple of months a friend and I are heading to Vegas. However, she's a bit worried about people getting into our room (it's happened to us before) so which hotel has the best security? Cost is not a problem.

Also, I know the weather is warm, but it is a humid heat or a dry heat?

All the major casino hotels have great security. As far as room security, I can tell you that EVERY hotel anywhere makes mistakes. Sometimes they think a room is unoccupied and send a new guest to your room by mistake. If you're in the room, always have the "deadbolt" lock engaged as well as any other restraints. The deadbolt lock can only be opened by authorized security staff AND only in special situations. An error at the Front Desk or Housekeeping causes a new guest to be sent to your room. However, new guest keys will not open a deadbolted lock.
When you're not in the room, you can leave your "Do Not Disturb" sign on. This should keep any hotel personnel from entering your room against your wishes. To be extra safe, let the Front Desk and Housekeeping know that you do not want your room entered without your authorization. Speak to managers in these departments.
One last thing, almost all the major resorts in Las Vegas have in-room safes so you can lock up any valuable items. These are usually available at no extra charge. At the very least, all hotels have Safety Deposit Boxes, usually located near the Front Desk. By law, these boxes can only be opened using two keys AT THE SAME TIME. One key is given to you when you first use your safety deposit box, the other is a master that stays in the safety deposit box room. Therefore, these boxes cannot possibly be unlocked unless you want them to be. This is the reason hotels charge so much if you lose a safety deposit box key. They have to drill the lock and replace it with a new one.

I've found good security in all the hotels I've stayed in. Luxor had great ones as did NYNY.

I think most have great security systems in place. These are multi million dollar properties. They don't want anything to happen to damage their repuation. So I think you would be ok at any of the major casinos on the strip or downtown. But be carefull if you stay off the beaten path somewhere.

all major casinos have pretty much good security, but I like bellagio and Hrd Rock's security the most.

It's about 112 degrees here today.. very dry heat, hot wind blowing in your face.. =(

I've stayed at Excalibur, Luxor and Harrah's and have never had a problem...I have noticed more security ar Harrahs, and its much more fun there anyways.

i think bellagio is the best...they even check your trunk when u r just going to visit the hotel

The four seasons is good. So is the Venitian.
