Sound like a daft thing to do but I have done it.
My wife was called into hospital.
Her operation took nearly 8 hrs.
I thought I would go rest my eyes a while in the back of my 4x4.
Forgot the door child locks were on and the windows are electric.
I could not get to the front doors or to the tailgate.
I had to attract a passer by to open the door and let me out.....lol

UH open the door??? I always lock myself in my car, in fact, the doors lock once a do about 3mph. Is there more to this question or is it a silly question?

to your right or left is a thing on the door that opens it most cars you just pull the handle but if that doesnt work unlock the car buy pressing the unlock button or flipping the manual unlock thing.
