No. You can fill it at any time. The filters in the tank and line filter out any harmful substances.

There will always be impurities in your tank. Letting the tank drain to empty will allow these impurities reach your fuel filter, and perhaps the engine. Most impurities will be collected in the fuel filter.

There are MANY who would agree that refilling your tank at half full, or even a quarter full is much better than continously letting it go to empty. Ideally, it should not make much of a difference, but your fuel filter should be changed at 50k intervals to remove any sludge deposits that it does pick up.

Paranoid I guess Fill when the low fuel light come on. Impurities on the bottom of the tank got there from the underground tank any way. That is what the fuel filter does filter out rust and paint from the large storage tanks at the refinery. Most Gasoline tanks at stations have been changed out with fiberglass reinforced plastic tanks. So the old adage of filling up at half full to prevent fuel injectors from becoming plugged no longer applies.
I use only a couple of Shell gas stations locally for all gasoline purchases and can back up day date and reasion there fuel dammaged my car...

inspite of what you've for solutions, physics performs into this sport. 0.5 finished tank=a million fat in-regulation driving interior the again seat finished tank=both fat in-guidelines driving interior the seat. So weight has each little thing to do with it. a million gal=8 pounds or eighty for 10 gallons 20 gallon tank is160 lbs of useless weight one hundred gallon tank and also you may want to make certain it out and so on so it fairly is useless weight driving with you up them hills. You wanna toss 100 and sixty pounds on your shoulders and carry it up the mile lengthy hill? Or eighty pounds? keep in recommendations in both situations you're operating up the hill on an same p.c.. yet when reality be advised you want some gas, so that you're gonna ought to carry someone up. Many if no longer maximum folk shoot off the line. if you're wearing 100 and sixty lbs it isn't as quickly because the dude who has an same vehicle and an same take off time(the point of acceleration) so fatty loses. except in snow. in case you both were given good iciness tires and gas it about an same way "it truly is a lot extra lighter so that you do not spin" Fatty would have extra suitable traction than the lighter dude.. it fairly is, if the gas tank is interior the rear of the vehicle. in case your vehicle is in good music the variable is somewhat little because it is a short distance. if you're capturing for the moon, the figuring it extra tighter.

No it is perfectly fine. The new gas balances out the octane anyway. As for impurities those sit on the bottom of the tank.

never heard that keeping it full would be a bad thing. i have heard good things about keeping your tank full, such as you'll get better gas mileage, condensation won't build up, full tanks of gas don't blow up like a half or less tank would because it's actually the vapor that makes the explosion (it'll still catch fire, of course, but not blow to high heaven), and you'll always be ready for an emergency.

Yes, especially in colder weather. A nearly empty tank allows much more condensation to occur which can lead to the gas line freezing.

No problem. Fill the tank anytime you want. It doesn't matter how much you have or do not have in the tank. That's what fuel filters do anyway. good luck
