I'm confused. I was talking to someone the other day and they said that someone was going to be sexually assulted in the last book? What's up with that? Is that a rumor (please tell me that it is!)? They couldn't remember where they heard that and I'm really confused! Help!

That was from theonion.com, which is a joke website. Nothing on it is legit, the stuff there is all jokes, don't worry about it.

Whoever said that is stupid. It is a childrens book. Unless J.K. Rowling wants to get attacked by millions of parents around the world for putting something like that in her book, i dont think it is likely to be put in the book. Incase you havent noticed, she has said or confirmed very little about the book, and it has not been published,so once again whoever started that ridiculous rumor has some serious problems. you should think of the question you have just ask and say to your self "maybe i should analyze a question before i post it online"

I'm 95% sure that that is a stupid rumor. I heard the rumor circulating too, but it doesn't seem likely.
younger kids read these books too. JKR wouldn't put anything like that in the books.

where, in the name of gilbert goddfried, did you find that type of rumor? I don't know about you, but I think you need to read Joanne Kathleen Rowling's books and figure out whether she'll put anything sexual in her books. I mean, come on. If she had put that on her book, no publisher would ever consider even printing the book out.

JK has released no information saying that. Therefore, that rumor is most likely false. It's possible that they made a lucky guess, but I doubt it. It doesn't really seem JK's style--she tends to shy away from all things inappropriate for children.

That is a rumor, and a pretty perverse one at that. JKR has said there will be no sex in the series and thus far nothing more than a bit of kissing.

Its a rumour that started from a pretty sick satire in the onion, not so much known for their humour as their ridiculousness. More believable was mugglenets April fools where they said that LV died by slipping on a banana peel.
