I regret that we cannot sort it out. The arab states will always resent the presence of Israel. This one is in the hands of the almighty. PRAY the protagonists see the light before they drag us all into nuclear oblivion!

No. Only the people living there can decide if they want to live in peace. It is rather like the Balkans in the 19th century. When Bismark was asked why he did not take the immensely powerful Prussian army down to the area and impose peace and security he said it was not a sensible project. The indigenous populations had been fighting each other for centuries. It simply was not worth the bones of single Pomeranian grenadier.

Well I think to bring about peace the occupation forces have to be in for the longhaul - decades at least. The only other times that the USA has successfully occupied the country were after the second world war and American troops are still in Japan and Germany more than 60 years later

Everyone knows that America is the power broker in the Middle East.

England is powerless to do anything in the Middle East. The terrorists in Syria, Lebanon, and Iran need to recognize Israel and begin working on a "2 state solution"........only The United States of America can make that happen.
- England is way out of its league...and has zero credibility in that region.

Question of the day----------- What country created the Israeli State???????? - you might want to look into that you ****.

The UK does not have a President. The only way to make peace in the middle east starts with Palestine. If everyone stopped sending money to arm the different factions they would have to sit down and work something out to-gether. We in the West have lost all credibility with the illegal war in Iraq. Why should they listen to us?

VOTE for ME!!!
Everyone knows politicians lie and steal and cheat, but at least with me in charge, you know I look good and I have a very supercilious manner. Besides which, I've been abroad and I prefer it here because I'm a man of the people.
Vote ME! You'll get richer and you won't feel guilty about it! Vote Jack for president and you'll have a friendly face in the White House. A man you can trust. A local man who likes golf, and laughing, and photo opportunities at your store or place of business. Just send me a letter. I'll send you an automated, photocopied response. We call it "democracy" and that's where the money goes.

No. Peace can't be brought to the ME. Arabs have to decide they want peace. I see no signs of that happening.
