The site MM linked you to (previous answer) should give you all the info you need. Just remember, no matter what ANYONE else here tells you, DWARF PUFFERS ARE 100% FRESHWATER FISH!!! They do NOT like brackish water as is commonly thought. They also should be kept in a species-only tank since they mean little suckers.

I find the term dwarf so offensive. I prefer little puffer.

Lol they are not a purely freshwater species dude, yea i will say that most people think they are purely brackish but there are lots of species that inhabit both brackish and freshwater... You gotta remember those puffers are extremely violent and territorial .

wondering what species to get now.. here's a website i looked up a while ago has lots of info of diff species and if they are freshwater or brackish or mixed.
