my friend she is getting divorce she move out from the apartment and left the kids with the father now she wants the kids back, but he said no he's going to keep the kids
she needs to know what can she do about it

Nothing. It's called "abandonment" and she can lose custody to her husband because of it.
In other words, "She's screwed".

Sorry but I don't like her chances one bit, because she's the one who walked out and left the children with their father, therefore the courts will favor the fathers side rather than her side. Like everyone else here is saying, " She better find a damn good lawyer and it will probably cost her a fair bit of money. Cheers and good luck.

She better get a darn good lawyer. SHE left. That will NOT look good to the judge.
Nowadays, men get custody for such as this.

take him to court. That's just like if it was the other way around. I don't know what kind of woman would leave her kids. Mine is what keep me sane in some situations.

Have her ask her husband if she can take them 50% of the time and get a lawyer.
