I had T-mobile a few years ago and I got horrible reception. I would drop calls constantly, it was very frustrating. It didn't matter where, it would suck equally no matter where I was, inside or outside. I don't know if they have improved that much over the years. One of my friends still has them and I lose him all the time when he calls me at home. A few of my friends have Verizon and have had no problems. I believe they are one of the top rated cell phone companies along with CIngular, so I would go with Verizon.

Except for a few people, I am amazed by all the completely wrong answers; if you don't know the answer to a question, don't answer it, and don't just guess either - it doesn't help the person asking the question by giving erroneous information. That being said, the answer is "no". Verizon and T-Mobile use two completely different networks, Verizon uses a network called CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) while T-Mobile uses GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications). Unfortunately, any phone that T-Mobile sells will not work on Verizon's network and vice versa. Verizon does sell two phones that are dual network (both CDMA and GSM) but they are designed to only use the GSM system in Europe with their European partner and part owner - Vodaphone. If you already have Verizon Wireless, stick with it - CDMA has much more coverage in the US then GSM does, also CDMA is capable of handling more calls and offers faster data uploads/downloads because it uses a better compression rate than GSM. On the other hand, if you travel outside the US a lot, especially to Europe where GSM is the dominant network, T-Mobile offers a much better "world service" than Verizon Wireless. Like most everything in this world - there is no clear winner, each has their good points and bad points.

Verizon is by far the best service I've had. T-mobile has limited calling areas && often loses calls. Verizon has broad calling areas, no roaming charges, affordable plans, lots of extra goodies, & awesome 24/7 tech support.

Well, i personally think Verizon might be better, because they have nice phones, get service just about ANYWHERE & they have really good offers. T- Mobile does too, but i don't know how good service they have.

I don't recomend Verizon or T-Moblie. I did a free trial and it really didn't budge. I dislike the quality of the sound. I would personally choose Cingular ! If you don't use all of your minutes, it saved the left over on to your next month and adds up. Text messaging is better. I have never had a dropped call in my life. I've had it for a few years now. Quality is great, offers you exlusive offers. They are making a ne way to talk on the phone with your camera called "3G". So, you should definitly check up on it.
