On June 11, 2007, WWE aired a segment at the end of RAW that featured McMahon (in character) entering a limousine moments before it exploded. The show went off-air shortly after, and WWE.com reported the angle as though it were a legitimate occurrence, proclaiming that McMahon was "presumed dead."[5] Although this was the fate of the fictional Vince McMahon character, no harm came to the actual person (that is, his death was part of a storyline).[6][7]

I have been a wrestling fan now over 37 years and this has got to be the sickest storyline ever. Sherrie Martel died and they did not even honor her on any of the shows.. Whats up with that. I think this has got to stop. get back to wrestling. It's a shame that WCW isn't still around, or the old mid atlantic wrestling. at least it was more beliveable..

No it was just a new story line they started last week. If you watch the video on line you can see that the editing was done wrong and Vince gets into his limo twice before it blew up. Yes they really blew up the limo, but without anyone in it.
There has been no mention of his driver on air, a limo without a driver wont go anywhere.

no he is not. i was at it and what they did was they taped it on Saturday and then just showed the tape but they did set the car on fire again monday to make it look real. if you want to read more about it i think it would be in the local newspaper here. try timesleader.com.

no he is not dead. its just part of the new storyline. if he really was dead they would be making a huge deal of it on the news like they did when Eddie passed away.
