Heard on NBC tonight that Hillary's numbers with women include 33% who think she's not electable. Over 50% thinks she'll bring the same baggage to office as Bill Clinton did when he was in office. Her numbers with men are even worse.
If she does win the Democratic nomination (remember a lot less people vote in primaries than in general elections and a lot of them are diehards) will she be electable in 2008 or will anybody the Republican run be a shoo-in?

I think of Hillary like the despicable, manipulative Angela Lansbury character in "The Manchurian Candidate". She has been plotting a bid for the White House for years, probably from the moment her husband took office. I'm sure this wicked witch of the west and her army of uniformed, winged monkeys have strategies and contingencies planned out we can't even begin to fathom. She knows better than anyone else what her vulnerabilities are. She's like the cylons on Battle Star Galactica: she's evolving, and she's got a plan.

If only Condaleezza Rice would run. She could easily defeat Hillary. If someone like Newt Gingrich runs, we'd have to hope he has learned how to be more likeable to the average voter, but I'm sure he has learned a lot from those heady days when he was bashing Bill Clinton and forcing welfare reform on him.

All in all, I think the Hillary campaign is doomed to spectacular failure. She does have a lot of baggage, and the Republicans will certainly exploit it to their advantage. Also, people aren't ready for her brand of Socialism.

Just watch the original "The Manchurian Candidate" again, and see if you don't see a lot of the Angela Lansbury character in Hillary.

I do merely not see what states that she would be able to win that Kerry and Gore did not. and she or he desires to because of the fact she desires to get to 270. Gore have been given 266 and Kerry have been given 252. yet that pollis extremely exciting. I mean they communicate approximately Hillary being polarizing yet I mean all and sundry who runs for President merely gets thoroughly ripped to shreads so perhaps by utilizing the top they are all polarizing. it could be like this for years, merely polarizing applicants attempting to get the Ohios or the Floridas and the Pennsylvanias just to get adequate electoral votes to recover from the best. Whoever wins this element interior the top i don't think of can unite the country very efficiently, and that i don't think of Kerry could have executed lots extra advantageous than Bush on that front the two he have been given exceedingly lots ripped aside interior the marketing campaign.

VOTE for ME!!!
Everyone knows politicians lie and steal and cheat, but at least with me in charge, you know I look good and I have a very supercilious manner. Besides which, I've been abroad and I prefer it here because I'm a man of the people.
Vote ME! You'll get richer and you won't feel guilty about it! Vote Jack for president and you'll have a friendly face in the White House. A man you can trust. A local man who likes golf, and laughing, and photo opportunities at your store or place of business. Just send me a letter. I'll send you an automated, photocopied response. We call it "democracy" and that's where the money goes.
