I recently moved and lost two boxes full of stuff including papers. Most of it I didn't need anyways but I want to make sure I do have everything I do need. So, my question is what are the most important documents we need to have, for example - Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Vaccines, ID, etc...

Thanks in Advance

Basically the stuff you named. Also, a living will, will etc. Any "document" you should keep. Nonsense paperwork you can just recycle because you shouldn't need it. Things like phone bills etc. keep for about 3 months and then recycle.

You must have your state issued ID card, Social Security Card, and Birth Certificate. If you wish to go to ANY public school, or hold any public service or healthcare jobs, you MUST have a copy of your vaccination records.
