I don’t know what to get him?? We want to go some where but not on our anniversary. I don’t know what to get him I have until Aug 11 but I would like to get something that’s not so short notice help please thanks :)

traditionally, people give each other something made of paper on their 1st year anniversary and something cotton in the second year (see http://www.findgift.com/Anniversary-Table/ ) but if you want to be modern, give him a clock. but that is not quite reccommended b/c the chinese say that you should never give people clocks b/c it means that you are shortening their lives.
and if you want to give something papery, how about a necklace made of folded money?

Get him something to show what the last year has meant to you. A token of how much you love him and to let him know you are there for him through thick and thin. Maybe an ingraved key ring, a photo album showcasing the happy moments of the last year. A nice quiet dinner at home with candles and his favorite food. Happy Anniversary

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:
Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!
The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.
Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.
Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.

Give him a night to remember, and no, I do not mean in the bedroom ... take him to a sports bar, then present him with tickets to the ball game, give him his favorite team's jersey, and just let him know that you will go anywhere with him. It can carry on for days, and he will be sooo happy and appreciative.

I got my guy a PSP and some games for our anniversary. Another good choice is to go pick out a cologne that you really like and get it for him. I also took some post-it notes and wrote sweet little notes and inside jokes on them and I left them in his car and around his workplace. He really liked it

I always like to get my man one nice gift (for our 1st I got him a watch), and then I add a little gift bag with his favorite candy, some funny boxers, a card etc.. We are coming up on our 4th. Good Luck.
