It is very normal, but ... you have to ask yourself, is what you are feeling the normal cold feet and jitters, or are you now paying more attention to red flags in the relationship that have always been there, but now they take on new significance because you are ... getting married. Get married with nerves. DO NOT get married with red flags. Does that make sense?

When I married my husband, I didn't have a moment's doubt in my mind.
I had plenty of doubts after, though! (Just joking!).
Seriously, only you know how you are feeling, and you should trust your instincts. Just because it's all being organised and paid for, etc, it doesn't mean it has to go ahead. You can stop this at any time, because it's a big step, and it's for life. Make sure that what you are feeling is not real doubts that this is the guy for you. If he is, you should know this in your heart.

No. It's not the right time. If you have to ask, then there's something that's holding you back. Postpone the wedding and take your time to determine if this person is the right one for you. If the two of you are meant to be together, in time you will be together. My gut feeling is NO.

Dear Shiva---Your first choice for a husband is the correct choice....you did not say that you loved the man. Pospone the wedding but don't cancel your lives.. You need more time to feel real comfortable with you partner. Nothing wrong with changing the date---OK---- DO NOT tell your significant other """'I HAVE SOMETHING TO TALK TO ABOUT""" He says what is it --then you heee haww about telling the man. Like your scared. He will become upset----Just tell him you want to postpone the wedding---tell him I think we are going to fast---I love you with all my heart. I just feel uncomfortable---

Yes. My wife and I had a conversation about this a few months before we got hitched. At the time we had been together for 5 years. We both knew what we wanted and where we were going, but she still got nervous.

I would say that you are having the normal jitters. If you really are not sure it is the right time to get married then don't.

cold feet is normal, but this sounds like a little more. Sounds like you rushed into things. If the fear/nervousness outweighs the joy/anticipation, you probably should back off and rethink things.
