By acting like the Pharisees Jesus disdains so much in the Bible for praying loudly and being so "religious" in public, but really just doing it for their own gain.

Extremists are nasty to deal with no matter where they place that extreme belief. Muslim, Christian, Hindu, I don't care, a zealot is a dangerous person and should be seen as such. WHen you listen to what they say, it needs to be weighed more carefully than someone who is more moderate.
I serioulsy doubt that Christ would be very happy with most of the people who are part of the "right". He'd probably be pretty pissed about a lot of the stuff they have done in his name.
I know people who are genuinely trying to live the most Christlike life they can. They are loving and kind, and they believe what they believe, but even when they disagree with you,or tell you they think you are wrong, you still see the loving attitude and kindness. They are people I treasure in my life. That is the kind of life Christ lived as an example. He did lose his temper(moneychangers in the temple) but it was righteous anger. He threw a few tables around, he didn't teach hate, not even when he was angry.

If they would ever put the time into becoming one it wouldn't be so bad, but misquoting the Lords book to further their own agendas is blasphemy. God knows the difference and will correct it come judgment day.

It dosn't, and I find it a very warm and happy feeling.
Why does the "Left" fear it, try to outlaw it, then make speeches claiming to "Love the Lord" (Hilary, Edwards, Obama)...Now thats feels dirty....................
