Who do you think are the two characters that are going to die, and how? Do you think the author will make a follow up and any kind of sequel? Also when does the Borders patry start?

Also is there a Borders party at all Broders or only a few of them?

Your first question: IMHO, I believe that Harry lives, because it is a children's/YA series after all and the central character of such series never die, JKR will not buck that canon.

And about the idea Harry is a horcrux, which is why some think he will die, Harry is not a horcrux!
This idea makes no sense in light of the prophesy for one, and why would Voldemort put part of his soul into someone he might have to fight anyway. If he kills Harry, he's wasted part of his soul. Also, I reject the idea that Harry became a horcrux as an unintentional byproduct of the rebounding of Voldemort's killing curse. The byproduct is known and is the empathic bound between the two, and that's all, IMHO.

Remember too that all the horcruxes have to be destroyed before Voldemort is vulnerable to death. If Harry is a horcrux, then Harry must die first, then Voldemort. So it would mean that Harry would have to loose a killing curse at Voldemort just after Voldemort loosed a killing curse against him--that is very tricky timing!.

I take the prophecy to mean that vanquishing Voldemort it Harry's job--no chance that Voldemort becomes vulnerable with a Harry sacrifice and with Harry dead, someone else kills Voldemort.

Otherwise: My handicapping, in order of likelihood (IMHO):

Ron, Percy, Pettigrew, Fred/George, Neville, Lupin, Hagrid, Hermione, Petunia, Dudley, Tonks, Mr./Mrs. Weasley, Malfoy, Ginny, Bill, Fleur, Luna, Snape.

Second question: JKR has said that the series is it, that it will be complete at the end of DH. She has also said that she'll do an encyclopedia, with proceeds going to charity. I hope that she'll write "Hogwarts: A History" from her notes, but that is only my wish, not anything official.

Third question: I imagine that is mainly up to the local stories, but if you want to go, I'd get there by 10 or so, IMHO.

You know, I don't really think only two characters are going to die. I trust Jo (JK Rowling) but think about it, it's the last book and everything but who knows...
I'll say that if she won't continue writing Harry Potter then Harry and Voldemort will die, 'cos it's really the only way she can finish the whole serie.
I don't want to think Harry will die, but he may in order to kill Voldemort.

Also I think Hagrid and Ginny or Lupin can die.
I don't know... the only think I do know is that I can't wait for the book to come out!!!

I think the Borders party starts at night... or at midnight, when the book is released... it all depends what Borders...

well there have been rumors that harry himself might die.
I hope that doesn't happen. HP and the Deathly Hallows is supposed to be the last book in the series, so most likely
there won't be another one. I don't know anything about a borders party.

I dont think she will do a sequel or a follow up I think the reason she wants to kill two main characters is because she wants to series to end. As far as the two characters that are going to die, Im pretty sure one will be Ron Hermione or Harry. I think Harry because that would really end the series. I dont know about the other one.

as of death, i have no idea.

JK Rowling will write one follow up book talking about the peices of the story that people didnt get. She's released this information via interview in the UK. No sequels.

and the borders parties usually start at 11, but it depends on which one.

harry and voldemort. harry finds all the horocruxes and goes on to battle voldemort. but as he kills voldemort, he somehow injures himeself or voldemort injures him and eds up dying.

j.k rowling will not write sequels but probably write related books like textbooks. for examle, she ia talking about writing quiditch through the ages. she is also plannin to write a harry potter encyclopedia.

i am not really sure about the borders party. you can probably got to their website to find out.

I'm not sure about the second one, but I have comvinced myself that Snape will die protecting either Harry or Draco...but that also means I have also convinced myself that Snape is innocent.

Tom Riddle is the obvious one.

For the other one, I am guessing Michael Corner. My mom is thinking Severus Snape.

Harry Potter and the One Who Must Not Be Named. They'll kill each other, thus fulfilling prophesy.
