What are your top ten favorite rock bands ever?

Led Zeppelin & Jimi Hendrix. Also I think a lot of the great bands from the beginning of Rock & Roll were the unknown black bands broadcast in local black areas. Copied or should I say stolen by white bands who got the glory in the fifties, early sixties and even earlier. That's where soul came from. Many of the songs were recorded word for word.

Back to the 60s here but its gotta be the Beatles. An obvious choice but the best band ever by miles. They were rock n roll for me and have to be considered as a rock band.
