If you want something applicable in the real life (outside your studio that is) then it would be salsa.
Samba is my favorite, but there is never anyone to dance it with, other than my competition partner.

From a guy's perspective, if you want an appealing dance which you can find a lot of popularity in amongst followers, then you are looking at Tango or Salsa. Salsa is extremely popular amongst younger people more so than Tango, though. But ALL the dances you listed can be extremely sexy if done well.
To get followers interested in dancing with you, though, you really need to lead well in either dance (Tango or Salsa), and that, unfortunately, can mean a steep learning curve if you have no prior dance experience.
Tango can be very sexy because of its close physical contact (the instructors call it 'light body contact'), and believe it or not, it can get much more sexier the slower it is danced. But the Argentine variety is not as commonly danced as Salsa (at not least in the United States).
Since you said you wanted 'fast-paced', Salsa might be a better fit for you. Combined with its higher popularity, and appeal amongst younger followers, you could definitely start off in that direction.
But if you want the best recommendation, if your schedule (and pocket) can afford it, you will become a better dancer, by far, if you learn ALL the dances you have listed. Variety makes you a better dancer, plus the broad exposure will help you decide which one is best for you based on your personal preferences.

Tango (if of the Argentine variety) requires the closes physical contact, as it is always danced in an embrace. If in close embrace or orillero style, you're actually touching chests. However, I wouldn't define tango as hot. It's more sophisticated, intimate, involved, and although not slow, it's not exactly fast paced.
Rumba seems the sexiest and most dramatic to me, although slower, but I doubt you'd find anywhere to dance it outside of classes.
Salsa has both the sexiness and the speed you're looking for, plus there's lots of opportunities for dancing it socially (clubs, parties etc.) Make sure your instructor teaches both closed and open position, the former has more body to body contact, as well as musicality. And make sure that you are taught how to lead, not just given choreographed patterns, leading anyone anywhere is what makes salsa hot...
And look into whether you can also take bachata. Salsa schools teach it fairly often, it's a Carribean dance with lots of physical (chest, crotch) contact, and great music, ranging form romantic to energetic. It's also fairly easy to learn.

Hi sweetie it's da diva and I personally think that Salsa and Tango is hotter. Because Salsa is fun, interesting, sexy, and plus you use a lot of body workout when you Salsa by the twist of the hips and the movement and the rotation of your arms/legs. But Tango is also nice, and exciting because Tango requires a lot of focus, concentration, eye contact. etc. Tango can get you prepared and ready for slow dances at proms, parties, weddings, etc. Tango can and will help you out a lot. By the way I am Italian and I know how to do both dances very well so that's how I know these things.lol got to go baby love ya smootches da diva.*
