If so, are there any other books like it. I mean having a real world and another Relm that people travel too. anything like that.

Well, first it is part of a trilogy, so please read the other two books (The Rise of the Wyrm Lord and The Final Storm). It was a great easy reading and fun series, and yes, taking us into another realm where our imaginations fly.
