Brother's cartridges are pretty cheap. I've been going to www.carrotink.com. Almost every month they run specials whereby you can get free shipping or free shipping and a free black cartridge. Other sites may be a dollar cheaper, but so far, I haven't had a problem with their ink.

I have a brother printer too. I pay 4 or 5 bucks each per color. since there are four, 20 dollars -22 dollars tops total for all four.
