midas advertises $89.95 per axle so if you don't need new rotors (with 96,000 miles and never having brakes, figure on new rotors also) figure $180. plus tax.

Wow allot of miles between brake jobs, hopefully most are highway miles. Brakes them selves are not that bad you can do them yourself, if not many places offer prices at around $90 per axle, if they have been grinding and such then rotors and drums will have to be replaced again if you can do the work yourself tremendous savings involved, if not you are probably looking at a $500 bill

I just replaced the brakes on my car at Midas last week...and its a 1999 model. It was $360 to replace the brakes and pads on all four...call around and get prices, they will quote you over the phone.

you do it yourself less than $75.00, have it done at a brake shop around $250.00-$350.00. check the rotors and see if there is any scoring on them if so take to a shop to have them turned.
