If we pull out what would they do if everything that we worked for over there is destroyed and is controlled by terrorist supporters. It be on there heads they would have created that thanks to the very left wing. But they will change my question about Bush anyway they never answer questions without using his name anyway.

I have a question for you, what have we actually accomplished "over there" that could be destroyed?

We need more troops to secure our borders. I am not for peace at any price. The war in Iraq is wrong. We were duped. However we are there and we have destabilized the region and can't just pull. I'm looking for a candidate who has the guts to say we need to send enough troops to finish the job. The surge is pitiful. You seem to be a us or them person. What is wrong with us working together?

I typically am very suspect about Logic by analogy but try to follwo me on this one (I'll go slowly, you know, about the pace of reading "My Pet Goat")

You and I are neighbors. You are so upset by the cost of gas you decide to build your own nuclear reactor in your backyard. Your neighbors think this is a HORRIBLE idea, because you don't have the first clue how to build a safe nuke plant, they all TELL you its a terrible idea, but that doesnt stop YOU, you're the "Decider" and you "Decided" to build it, and you do.

When you flip the switch to turn it on, it immediately starts China Syndroming and giving off massive amounts of damage and radiation, but you have power now, so you dont really care. If your neighbors get irradiated well, you warned them you were building the reactor, they should have moved away if they didn't like the idea, right?

Except now, your OWN kids have begun growing tails and no longer need lights on to read in the dark. They have literally become their own nightlights. Again, no problem, that just cuts down on electricity usage (and besides, you've never been very good at admitting when you are wrong). Butnow, your wife finally puts her foot down, she doesnt WANT kids which glow in the dark.

Your response? "HEY its the guys who warned me not to build the reactor who are at fault! If they had tried harder to stop me, we wouldnt BE in this mess now. All I wanted was free power and I got what I wanted, so now go whine to the neighbors who are all glowing too. Tell THEM to clean up this mess, I'm busy building a Cold Fusion reactor with this cardboard toilet paper roll and some Chinese toothpaste."

I have a question for you: what will YOU do if we pull out and none of that happens?

The reason many of us don't think it will is that the people who are making those predictions have been wrong with every single other prediction they have made thus far. Also, it's impossible to predict what other people will do in various situations or how one action will affect other actions.

It won't happen because we are training the Iraqis to take care of themselves and if we never get into this war in the first place this would not even be a problem

You're right, they would never answere it. They would just say it's our fault for stirring things up. They would forget about the fact we did the right thing, and maybe the only reason they are still alive is that we did.
