I would like to make an outfit for my son's fancy dress parade at school, the theme is 'it's our planet' so it can be animal, plant, vegetable.
Any suggestions or links to website for home made outfits?

How about all of them..I mean make little cut-outs of plants, animals, allsorts (he can draw them or cut out if he's old enough) and safety-pin them all over his clothing. Felt is good with a bit of stitching together but stiff paper would be fine for a one-off parade. Cheap and simple. Wear old clothes though in case of pinholes afterwards. If you're a reasonable sewing-machine user or craftswoman you can jazz it up, maybe a blue-and-green cloak/tunic to look like a map of the world instead of just pinning to clothes, or some sort of hat to theme in (the sun?). Have fun.

It's fun to be a bug, and he could learn about beneficial insects in our environment.
