no, i dont. at least not if you're going out into the real world. If youre from a small town and plan on staying there, then theres a chance, because theres not a big chance of meeting new people or really experiencing new things all the time. but i would say college really seperates people because of the new world available to each of them, and its a good thing to explore other options while you're young.
Just take it a day at a time, and if it works out, great, but dont worry too much about it. Youve got a loooong life ahead of you with lots of people to meet and things to experience. Just have fun with the time you spend together and hope it works out.

I met up with my HS sweetheart (1st Love) last year after 6+ being apart. ( I joined the military)
He didn't end up being the man I pictured him to be. We dated a little while and though there was quite the Spark there was no hope for a real relationship for us.
Honestly we should have not gone back out. I would have rater held onto my memories than ruin it all.

depends on the people involved. I was with my highschool love for 7 years(we eventually broke up) I have a friend who started dating her man in the 9th grade now they are married with 3 boys and they graduated in 1993

High school is such a closed environment that it's relly hard to expand your horizons there. Once you get out, there are so many different experiences that you will not share you will bound to mature differently.
