You can't period. The DVD capacity is about 6 times larger than CD. The DVD Writer can read/write DVD and CD but not the other way around. Get a dual-layer DVD R/W Writer will take care what you need.

Nope u cant play dvd's in cd driver

but in dvd player u can play both cd's and dvd

go buy a dvd burner there like 50$ now for a good one. very cheap
