My boy has a Virgin Mobil cell phone, and lately when you try to turn it on, the screen just flashes on and off, like, every 8 seconds, and doesn't come on. It still does it when you plug it in to the charger, too. Is it worth buying a new battery, and trying it, or just get a new one? $100 phone!

if the battery doesn't cost as much as the phone it is worth it...it sounds like it needs a battery if you are not sure you can call the company you bought it from and tell them what its doing.....just a thought...I guess thats all this old woman knows about cell phones lol
