My boy has a Virgin Mobil cell phone, and lately when you try to turn it on, the screen just flashes on and off, like, every 8 seconds, and doesn't come on. It still does it when you plug it in to the charger, too. Is it worth buying a new battery, and trying it, or just get a new one? $100 phone!

if it ran by itself fine while plugged in to an electical source before you had the problem then you should replace the phone.

Is it still under warranty? If it is , I would take it back to where you bought it.
