I'm supposed to demonstrate how to make a paper mache crane, I've planned that out already, the only thing I don't have is an "Attention getter" or an opening statement for my speech on how to make a paper crane.

Any ideas?

Also, at the end of my speech I'm supposed to have something called the "Bang Statement" It's a cute saying that should be catchy and wrap things up. Sort of like a slogan- if you will.

Any ideas for that too?

Thank you everyone for all your help!

If its the Japanses Paper Cranes, those are from Japanese weddings they were used as party favors.

Anything from the history on how this became popular would be a good attention getter.

Here is a website on the history of the Japanses paper cranes , you may like to search another site to look for a insightful thought for a quote that will relate to a Japanese wedding ceremony ,for your presentation.

If I asked you to describe a crane would you tell me about a piece of machinery that picks things up or a large graceful wading bird?

Attention grabber.

So there we have it. My crane. If you can't see it stand up and take a better look or you may crane your neck. Thank You.
