Its a nice vehicle but I don't know anything about the safety, and don't know anything about the reliability.

Anybody have any insight? It is Dark Green, Automatic, and has a V6 4.3 Liter engine...

Thanks

If it was not used for towing a trailer or hauling heavy loads buy it.

Do some research on the vehicle by going to one of these websites and explore what they have to say about it...plenty of auto websites have reviews on safety etc.

www.autobytel.com
www.kbb.com
www.edmunds.com
www.cars.com

goodluck..its always a great idea to check out a vehicle when your thinking of buying it...test drives dont always tell the whole story.

good source for recalls and safety defects i own a 97 GM sonoma 4.3 for seven years know and i would by it again but it only had 15000 miles on it and it has been extremely well taken care of at 80000 miles i did change the intake manifold gasket for antifreeze leak, and water pump, and heater core besides routine maintenance that is the only major work done in 85000 miles on my 97

I'd rather invest 4.5K in four thousand matchbox cars before I spent a dime on a domestic vehicle. Why don't you use that money for a downpayment instead.

Go to kbb.com and look up what it is worth buying retail, wholesale, and trade in value. Then you can go to edmunds.com and look up reliability and if there where any recalls on the car or any problems.
