What can you do to a teacher than refuses to understand the point you have to make.

He is seriously frustrating me! I make suggestion and he tells me it's wrong, when i know it's right.

And when we have exams which is tomrrow. he only accepts notes he has!! Nothing made up in my own words!! All my other teachers recommend it but he wants it word-for-word

You guys should see the definition he gave for area!! 3 paragraphs!! I put it in my own words for a test and he gave me 0.

What to do, i have to deal with him for the next two years until i get out of the school!!

I don't know if you're in high school or college but it sounds like high school. If that is the case you can try to talk to your parents and see if they can talk to the dean or principal, but I really don't see much changing that way. The best advice I can give you (especially if you plan on going to college) is to try and adapt to they way he teaches. In college you have such a wide range of personalities teaching you and you have to deal with it. Believe me I do understand. My college physics classes were a nightmare. My instructor was likeable, but I felt as if I was learning very little when it came to academics. I had to get extra study materials and take really good notes. As far as the area problem, he may have had it three paragraphs for analytical reasons. Sometimes in science courses like physics we are very use to explaining things with equations rather than words. Maybe he was trying to bring out some critical thinking about what you were doing. I hope things work out for you. As I said before, if it's that bad, talk to school administration because I'm sure others have complained too.

Its easy to tell your teacher reads out of the textbbook. He clearly doesnt understand. Maybe you should tell him- but be respectful. Tell him that the definition you wrote on the test is simmilar to the one he wrote. But before you tell him-- is there any significant details you lefy out on your description?
