i know its not funny but this did make me laugh!!!
think you are a brave man living with your soon to be ex wife.
at the end of the day its your bed too, so get in there and if she does not like it tell her she knows where the sofa is.
GOOD LUCK - think you need it ; )

i can understand your dilemma, it's just as much as your as hers, and sounds like you are taking a stand, because most men would either leave or be on the couch. my suggestion is get in that bed, so you and the so called wife can keep arguing or be the bigger person and feel that this is no longer worth it and sleep on the sofa or move out. once you surrender to nonsense then that becomes you and do you really want it to come to that. good luck

Even massive arguements can be resolved!! Keep sleeping on the bed & try to think of some of the funniest moments in your relationship and just start by saying "remember that time when..........."
There have been times when I thought my marriage was on the rocks & by my choice I've slept on the sofa but having two kids makes us both fight to keep the marriage going, so just keep on trying. You picked each other & thought so much of one another at one time, to get married in the first place. Try fighting to keep it coz too many of us are fighting & losing!! Or even worse just giving up without a fight !!
Good luck

As I have been on the sofa myself for quite some time I can't see a problem with the sofa. Have you tried taking her sheets and pillows to the sofa and make sure you go to bed before she does?

Whoever hates the idea of sleeping next to the other one more, should get the sofa.

Neither you or she has exclusive rights to the bed. Whoever's more annoyed with the other will be the first to take the sofa. It'll work itself out.

Easy - both sleep in the bed, but put pillows down the middle of the bed, so that you don't have to touch each other.
Is there no chance of reconciliation? If not, go and stay with a mate. It must be torture living with your ex.

Your bed is connected to your sofa. If things are bad on the sofa they are bad in the bedroom. You didnt separate because you were getting along so incredibly well, but because things got bad in some room of the house and that extended to the living room.

You know that being proud, insolent, and antagonistic is going to drive you farther apart, not closer. Dont you realize that?

i would go up and sleep in the bed after all its equally yours too, just lie there with your back to hers, if she doesnt like it then she can go sleep on the sofa, if you are living together then surely your both amicable to sleep in the same bed.
