Iowans for Tax Relief and Iowa Christian Alliance will host a presidential candidates forum on Saturday, June 30th in Des Moines. Republican presidential candidates Mitt Romney, Sam Brownback, Jim Gilmore, Mike Huckabee, Tommy Thompson, and Tom Tancredo will participate.
Ron Paul, however, will not participate. Why? Because he wasn’t invited.
Is this an example of censorship? And how can we have democracy when all candidates aren't given the same voice?

no it's not fair. but there is currently no way in the US legal system to make it right unless. If the Iowans for Tax Relief and Iowa Christian Alliance were forced to included Ron Paul they'd complain that their rights were being infringed upon as well. There's no pleasing anyone. And Ron Paul isn't really a republican anyway.

Of course its fair. This is a privately funded organization. They should be able to invite whoever they want and for whatever reasons. Yes, it is censorship, but seeing as it is not being carried out by the government, I see absolutely no problem with it.
On a second note, I'm sure they will also deserve the wrath of Ron Paul supporters that will most likely be all over them. As a private organization, they have the right to invite whomever they want, and supporters of Paul should have the right to make their lives miserable for this lasp in "judgement"

Makes me want to vote for him just a little more.
In the state of new york in 2000 the Republicans won't allow John McCain on to the Ballot in the NY Primary
I hate the Primary system y does Iowa and New Hampshire get to pick who is the front runner, they are such small and insignificant states

It's clearly unfair. But beyond that, please look (and think) about Dr Paul's record and ideas. Let me try to get you started. Polls show that a growing majority of Americans think the country is heaed in the wrong direction. Why is that? Stock market's up, unemployment is low, inflation is "under control". If the news is all so good, what specifically prompts Americans to believe change is necessary?

The exclusion of Ron Paul tells you one thing - Ron Paul is gaining momentum. When they purposely try to leave the leading anti-tax candidate out you know something is up.
Fairtax.org is sponsoring the debate - I urge you to contact them and let them know you will no longer send money to their cause and will quit there association if they do not pull out of the debate or put pressure on the debate committee to let Ron Paul on. Here is their number.

It's absolutely UN- American, DIS-respectful and just goes to show how completely "BIASED" American politics has become.
I think I'll start a boycott of Iowa produced products....Sue Bee Honey would be the first one!
