my BFF is mad at me b/c i am am apparently being "anti-social" b/c i didn't have a conversation about everyone in the yearbook she was looking at while we were on the phone

plus, she keeps on taunting me, saying that she likes someone, but not saying who

the thing that really is bugging me is that when i am about to open up to her about some of the things that r screwing my life up right now and why i am upset, she says, "stop being so depressing"

Time for a break. Stop talking to her for a bit or sit her down and say look this and this is going on in my life and if that doesn't work, time to move on.

I can totally answer this for you, been there. She's completely about herself. And that's it. Does she offer up anything besides "stop being so depressing"? Nothing constructive? Sounds like she's about as deep as a puddle of rainwater. Maybe find some other like minded people to gravitate towards besides this chick? If she doesn't care about what's going on in your life, I wouldn't open up to her so much; her "Alpha Female" persona will only use your insecurities against you later.....

Doesn't sound an a BFF to me. I'm sorry she's not be supportive when you need it. Maybe try to widen your circle of friends - maybe someone else is more of a match to what you are looking for in a friend. Good luck sweetie.

A true friend wouldn't be doing that, but if you've known her for awhile I can understand why it would be hard to just drop her. A friend is supposed to be there for you when your feeling down. You should dump her for a week to see what she says or just talk to her and tell her how you feel.

She seems to be kind of b*tchy, just ignore her for a while, because she's not being very cool..maybe she'll get the hint then to stop being so annoying

sounds like an annoying best friend. i would still be friends with her but try to make some other friends, that way you dont have to lean on her everytim you need someone- since its obvious she probably wont be there for you most the time.

Tell her the truth and how she is making you feel. If she does not care enough to treat you better she is not really a friend.

She's not a real friend. Don't talk to her and sort things out. Maybe you're better off without her.

You need a new friend. If anyone that I call my "BFF" treated me like that, I'd find another one. Don't let yourself be treated like crap. That's not friendship.
