Cranium (board game you can buy)..I am not kidding..the most fun I have had playing a game!!! Its the best!
Card games-you cant go wrong with Texas Holdem or Eucher

Depending on you and your friends tastes, there are lots of games that are on DVD now, I'm assuming they can pack more answers on a disc than any set of cards. But you can also refresh and mix together the different editions from trivia games.
My personal fav of the big group games was always pictionary/win lose or draw.
Taboo is also a lot of fun.
For cards, skipbo is fun for all ages. And spades, 500, hearts, euchre, pinochle, etc, for a large group, you could set up different tables and have a tournament.

pictanory is a great game don't need the board just a black board, white board or a big pad of paper ideas for people to chose from and teams always a blast be a person trying to draw a mermaid or a recent movie. Another free game is sherades you know put ideas in a hat person picks one out and has to act it out once had to do to Be or not to Be , and lion king in one night.

Scattergories is an awesome game if you want something to play over and over. It's always a different letter for a list so you never know what the answers will wind up being. Plus its hilarious to see what other people come up with sometimes.

A game called Apples to Apples, but it cannot be the Jr. version, otherwise u wont get the funny cards. U can buy it cheapley at any store tht sells games lik tht.....it is a card game by the way.

IDK the name, but there's a game where you're given a word and teams (or individuals) have to think of a song with that word in it and sing at least 10 words of it. it's hysterical if you play with someone who can't sing, and even better if you're all drinking
