If you have carpet, sprinkle baking soda on it and let set for a bit before vacuuming. My best guess is that if you have carpeting, it's the culprit, as well as any other fabrics in your room. They suck up stink and hold onto it. You can try leaving bits of baking soda sitting all around in small portions too. You can clean hard surfaces with baking soda and vinegar too, but it bubbles a lot, and I can't guarantee the finish. But it works. (btw it's the best way to clean a coffee Thermos too. Put soda in it and fill with hot water and let it set. rinse well. it's like having a new thermos) Anyway back to your ? You've seen the commercials about baking soda? Well, they're on point, it's natural and just absolutely sucks up stink. And you can throw it away more easily than you can your room. lol hope this helps.

Dust your room with pledge and use a mild soap and water solution on all your surfaces.
Put a dryer sheet in the vacuum bag and vacuum again really good. Move your furniture and get under them.
Put a few dryer sheets on a hanger by using a close pin or just poke a hole for the hanger to go through... hang them in your closet.

Pine sol drips in the corners help. Also, freshly grated lemon rind lets a nice germ-minimizing sent into the air. Check in your attic or under the floor in your room to see if something died. Carpet fresh can help, but if you don't have that, get some baking soda and fling it around on the carpet.

With the cleaning you've done, your room shouldn't have a smell.
You might want to check and make sure you don't have a mold problem, or have a problem with your carpet or carpet padding. Meanwhile, try grinding dried lemon rind to a powder and mixing it with baking soda, and sprinkling that around your room.
Good luck!

you might wanna find where its coming from tho, covering it up isn't gonna make it go away. do you have food in there? wet clothes or shoes? wet things can smell bad.
do you have any candles you can put in there? spray your perfume around. febreeze everything if you've got some. CLean better maybe, cleaning stuff always smells good when you've finished. Dust, clean windows, floors. see if you got some cinnamon sticks in the kitchen and stick them around your room.

Does your room have carpet? If so, then I would suggest cleaning the carpets. Go rent a carpet cleaner from a local hardware store and then use woolite to clean the carpets. (my brother used it on his and it smelled so good and made the carpet really soft..it didnt effect the color either)

I would get baking soda and sprinkle it on the carpet and leave it on all day if you can then vacuum it up! If that does not help maybe have a carpet cleaner come in and clean the carpets for you!

She is just trying to eliminate crumbs. In our house, we eat where ever we want. I am eating in the computer room right now and my husband is eating on a tray in front of the tv. We never did the traditional "dinner at the table" thing when our son was with us either unless we had other people over.
