There is nothing wrong with her...it is him. He is controlling her and she isn't even seeing it. I have a friend who has a boyfriend that treats her horribly too. She has caught him cheating and still doesn't get it. He treats her and her kids ( 2 aren't even his) very bad. It is a self esteem issue really. There is nothing you can do but be there for her when he hurts her. She has to figure it out on her own and do it herself or she never will!

The first time he hit me would be his last. I don't understand that either about some girls. I have a friend that does the same thing. Her and her b/f split up every other week and are back together in 2 days but they don't physically fight though.

There are just some women that are like that. He is probably gonna have to end up almost killing her, then people will intervene before she stops loving him. They are addicted to the drama. There are girls that even say, "ohh,, why can't i find a nice guy?" But they also pass the nice guy up for the ********. Some girls are only attracted to jerks.. I wouldn't bother any more with her.. Especially if you are interested. Because, she will get bored with a guy that treats her kindly. Seen it many times.

I know it can be frustrating seeing someone you know go through this but the only thing that you can do is just be there for her. there will come a day that she can not handle it any more and will be able to stand up to him and leave him. Hopefully and I pray that the worst doesnt happen....just be a good friend and be there for her even though it bugs you to see and hear all of this...stay strong for her, but yet again you can only take her coming to you for so long,.......GOOD LUCK

Unfortunatly she has made herself the victum and in some cases of abuse the abused see's this as love.
She needs to get help but if she doesn't see that there is a problem she wont. Eventually she will either get tired or she wont.
There is nothing you can do to help her....

She probably feels she'll never find anyone else, she thinks she can't get anything better, feels she does'nt deserve better, etc...
That's usually the case. Don't even bother. Eventually she will realize it herself, you can't convince her to leave him. That never helps the situation, because then she feels like she's defending something worth defending, and will stay for an even longer period of time.

Maybe shes afraid that if she leaves he will kill her. I know someone that is like that also. She needs to understand that the guy does not love her she is just property to him. You cant change men like that. Its hard to get that through to them. Hopefully it dont take rock bottom.

Maybe she thinks she doesn't deserve anyone better. Maybe she thinks she can't do any better. It's not good to criticize anyone when you haven't walked in their shoes.
