Are the Twins Players staying in Minnesota?

There has been a lot of talk about Hunter being traded, but who knows what will happen. A lot of people thing that he is the heart and soul of the Twins. He is most definitely a team leader and it would be advantageous for the Twins to keep him around.
Santana has also been a key player. Hopefully the Twins can set some money aside to hold on to him as well. The pitching staff has been weak this year, he is our rock in the pitchin staff! He will be in MN through 2008.
Mauer is on a 4 year deal, Punto is on a 2 year, and Morneau, Cuddy, Ford, and Rincon all are signed on for this year. We can only anticipate what will happen in the future. Let's hope Pohlad has some dollars to spend on our players!

The Twins are a small market team and will not be able to pay the high dollars the players on your list will command when their contracts are up. I look for Hunter to go next year and Santana when his contract is up. It's a sad thing for the fans in great baseball cities like Minnesota and Oakland but that is the reality of the game at this time.

i believe that they r all staying except hunter which is a huge disappointment he is one of our best players but some people dont think we have enough money to resign him

and to santana57 i dont care what u think about me. twins lovers r twins lovers. it doesnt matter we dont need to compete. i got to at least half of the home games and even a few away games every year. but does it really matter. u need to pull ur head out of ur a$$ and stop being a jerk cuz no one likes people who sit here and bad mouth other answers because they have nothing better to do with their pathetic lives
