#7 bus will take about 15/20 Minutes. Busses run from Dockyard starting @ 6:50am, returning last bus leaves Hammilton 9:15pm M-F 7am-9:15 Sat, 10am-6pm Sun.
Taxi 10 minutes approxmitely $30/$35 each way.
I reccomend the bus, and sit in the back row. The seats are highest and you get a great view.
You may also rent scooters from Smatts Cycles.

Kings Wharf Bermuda Beaches

The bus will take about 20 minutes. But be sure that you get the correct bus at the wharf; there is one which goes to Hamilton but does not go along the beach route. When you get to the stop there will be a downhill walk equal to about a long city block to get to the level of the beach. When you come back up you can walk, but there will be taxi driver there trying to get you to pay for a ride uphill.

Also, remember that travel is on the opposite side of the street from the US and other places so the bus stop to go back to the wharf will be on the side of the street where you come up the hill.

If you are planning to be in Bermuda for 2 or 3 days and plan to use the bus to get around, buy a transportation pass which allows unlimited rides on the buses and also the ferry. One way to give yourself a tour of the island is to take the bus to town and then take the ferry back to the dockyard. The Ferry station is right next to the cruise ship dock in Hamilton and the main bus terminal in Hamilton is just a block from the port, one street over.
