Recently I patched up my front lawn and it was looking amazing. Then last week I picked up some Scotts Max-Weed,Feed, and Halts(Crabgrass preventer). Stupidly, I put down way, way ,way ,way more then supposed to and two days after large yellow spots have formed. Can I save the lawn?

I agree with some of the other answers. Water it the yellow is a sign that it needs water. With any weed killer only put down the recommended amount because anything more is too much for your lawn. If it turns brown you may want to consider reseeding your lawn.

keep that water flowing, and it probably wont stop it as you are already seeing yellowing. you better sharpen your lawn mower blade while you are watering, you will be doing alot of mowing soon. around the bare spots that is. in 2 weeks you should be able to tell what isnt going to come back. throw some light topsoil down and reseed.
next time remember you dont want to have to mow every 3 days so take it easy on the fertilizer especially something that has alot of nitrogen in it !

Water it as much as you can. You have burned it. A little potting soil or similar dirt in the low spots can help it come back..but, water heavily now.
