With my wife's sister's 2nd pregnancy she had the same thing. The second sac wasn't clear.

However she was very pregnant with twins, although not identicals. My Neice and Nephew will be 4 years old tomorrow.

Most people usually have more than one baby (usually two) and one is absorbed before you even know you're pregnant. I have never been in this situation but I did lose a child on Mother's Day when I was 7 weeks pregnant. I wouldn't worry as of yet and wait until the next ultrasound, just because something doesn't look good at that time doesn't mean they can assume something is wrong.

I hope everything goes well and I hope both your babies are doing good!

You're only six weeks. I think they are speaking very prematurely. It's common to not see much at this point. Especially with one sac behind the other one. Don't be too worried about it yet. Go to www.twinstuff.com and ask on there, you will probably get more thorough answers. It is a website for twin moms and has a forum where you can ask and answer questions. I hope everything turns out well for you.

Congratulations on being pregnant, and I'm sorry you have to go through this. There's really nothing you can do at this point, and either the second one will make it or it won't. There are lots of cases that I've heard of where the twin catches up, but there are just as many where the opposite happens. Good luck!
