and why?

I consider myself a moderate Republican, and here's my take on picking the winners:

GOP - It comes down to McCain and Thompson. It's hard to place Fred in the end-game so early, but who else ya' got? Romney won't survive if for no other reason than the Mormon rap, but it obviously gets deeper than that. Rudy's only got one card to play and I don't think it's strong enough to carry the Midwest. McCain's got the war chest and connections, but Thompson actually looks tough to beat, yes?

DEM - Hillary's going to be in this thing until the end, so it comes down to her and somebody. Obama, of course. Tough pick. Dem voters know a black man has a better chance of being president than a woman (yeah, it will come to that), even if she is a Clinton, so I think Barack Hussein may just win the nomination. Al Gore, anytbody?

Oh my God.. "President Thompson"?

Eesh.

My dream ticket of two Jews, one twice-divorced, has got no shot.

the appropriate cutting-edge Democratic candidate is Mike Gravel. reason? he's basic. Ron Paul is the only Republican whose basic as nicely. I accept as true with Ron Paul a lot greater effective than Gravel, yet whilst Ron Paul did no longer make it because of the fact the Republican nominee (heaven forbid) then i might take Gravel whether i did no longer accept as true with him a lot. Honesty trumps a great form of issues.

I hope Obama wins the nomination over Hillary but my fav Dem is John Edwards (seems very sincere to me for a change) prob not but I'll keep my fingers crossed
I don't really like any of the GOP candidates, if forced to choose I think i would choose Giuliani but I don't really think he is all that qualified for the office personally. And he's likely to lose.

The parties are so close now and big business and the lobbyists have them in their back pockets .

They laugh behind our backs when we fight over the Democrat or Republican party/candidates because they line their pockets, get the perks, get the best retirement and health care.

Nothing will happen until America starts voting out the incumbents no matter what party they are until they get the message .....

WE the AMERICAN PEOPLE are in charge not the lobbyists, not the ceo's,not the special interest groups.

ROFLOL. That would be one to see!

Personally I want Giuliani. I think America needs a leader that is going to unite us like we were after 9/11.

and if Thompson gets the GOP spot, I will kick the crap out of all these right wingers. Because that will mean Hitlery will become president.
A right wing conservative has zero chance after Bush.

If you cannot see that then please do not vote in the primary!

Barack for Democrats ( I wouldn't be surprised if he wins the presidency)
Rudy or McCain for Republicans

I don't care who wins just as long as they're better than George W. Bush.

I wish Ron Paul will be elected president, please God. As for the Democrat Party, I pray that Kucinich will be a candidate for president, and Obama for vice president. Thus the motto will be: "Use deodorant and make love-not war!".

I like Rudy Giuliani. He's the only republican who can take New York away from Hilary, and because he's kind of in the middle on some issues he'll get support from some democrats who aren't as far left as Hilary.
