a day that we all plant plants and celebrate the earth. u didnt really miss much except tree planting. the name sorta explains itself. we celebrate earth. simple as that. literally.

Heard of Google? not sure how much merchandise is available on tis one.
I would imagine it is a commercial initiative to make those, that take the Earth they live on for granted, aware of the fragility of that Earth. Could be wrong though. And i can't be asked to Google it.

Earth day, is a day set aside to honor mother Earth and how important she is to us all. I think the people of the Audubon society started it to honor trees and other plants.
