it was announced today that there is interest to bring an AFL expansion team to Pittsburgh with the new arena arriving for the Penguins. Do you think it will sell and bring interest in the AFL to the Steel City?

No We love our Steelers and that would be a cheap imitation.

Despite the feverish following enjoyed by the Eagles, and poor AFL performances for three years, the Philadelphia Soul draw very well.

I think it would be great to have an AFL team in the Steel City. Just hope that they come up with a better football name than the Soul did.

I cant understand why people put Arena Football down. I know it isnt as great as regular football, but I think it is a great substitution. I am counting the days till football starts but I am very into my AF2 team and hoping they bring a championship, these arena games can be exciting if you really give it a chance. I mean what else are you going to do for the offseason, watch baseball? YAWN!!

We actually have had a second football franchise the Pittsburgh Maulers of the USFL. I still remember those way cool commercials they had with the hardhattedguy with the giant hammer smashing something. I actually think it would be a good opportunity to see even more football.
