I grew up in Texas and everyone and their mom is a Cowboys fan... so at a very young age I started to go against the man, so I loved the Broncos, everything from the Drive, to the vicious Atwater hits, to the McCaffrey "no fear" catches he would make down the middle. To the best suberbowl ever 1997 and the following year 1998, to the Mile High Salute, even through all the QBs trying to fill the great shoes of the best QB ever to play (although i was really really rooting for plummer to do it) and most importantly to all the wins and all the Raiders and Chiefs Losses! How can you be a Cowboys fan? or better question how can you be anybody elses fan but the Broncos?

you're going to find this kind of funny but i'm from chicago but my all time favorite team in any sports yet alone football is and will forever will be the pittsburgh steelers . why you ask ? well it all started when i was about i say 8 years old , and my brother and his friend from texas which at the time were both 14 . they were cowboy fans and i liked the way the steelers played . what did i know i was a stupid brat kid (i didn't even know that the steelers won 2 super bowls already ) . but going into super bowl 13 they kept saying how dallas would kick pittsburgh's teeth in . and i said pittsburgh's going to win and they did , so i thought they were magical . the next year in super bowl 14 on january 20th , 1980 they beat my friend in schools favorite team the rams , and didn't win the super bowl again until super bowl 40 over seattle !!!

The Chiefs are my favorite team. Grew up in KC, everyone in my family is a Chiefs fan. Your a Broncos fan, huh, we beat that at least once most years - of course that means you beat us once though, too. Man, its hard to make the argument that the Chiefs are the best team right now. I can make the argument that the Chiefs are the best team in their home stadium. They're 102-34 since 1990 in front of the Sea of Red - best home record in the NFL since then. Nobody, and I mean nobody, comes into Arrowhead and gets an easy win - especially Denver (as long as we don't count Elway's last 2 years in which he and Shannon Sharpe destroyed us in Arrowhead).
GO CHIEFS!!!!

You aren't gonna like this answer either, I am not a Chargers or Chiefs fan....I'm even worse than that! Raider Nation rise up!
I'm 26 and really started getting into football around the late 80's. My Dad used to make business trips to Los Angeles and he would bring me back Raiders gear, and it just sorta went from there. I was lucky enough to start tuning into football when Bo Jackson and Marcus Allen were running in L.A.. Oakland is one of the most loved and most hated franchises in NFL history. We are not very good now, but have been to 5 Superbowls and won 3 of them! We will be back though!
It's interesting that you have 1997 in your name. Remember Napoleon Kaufman from that season? Yeah, he ran for 227 yards against your Broncos and made Terrell Davis look like a little girl. I know you guys won the Superbowl that year, but one of your few losses was in Oakland on that day!
Here's to rivalry!!!! and the toughest division in the NFL...the AFC West!

well you're not gonna like this one... but i'm a diehard kansas city chiefs fan. I grew up on them, and as a little boy I can remember watching derrick thomas make great plays. I'm from ohio, but I have tons of family in missouri. So, about 8 years ago I made a visit to arrowhead. It was great, the stadium was full of energy and it was a great exprience. Plus watching my favorite player at the time (derrick thomas) make plays was great. I remember it vividly, we were playing san diego and the offense was flowing the defense was making plays... we ending up destroying them 34-0. Ever since then my being a chiefs fan has grown stronger and stronger, and I hope that some day I will be able to return to arrowhead... GO CHIEFS!

NEW YORK GIANTS. I have always been of the Linebacker and when I saw Lawrence Taylor play the position I became a fan of his and the GIANTS. I have been a fan ever since. All the great GIANTS players from the 80's, 90's and the present have been fun to watch i.e. Tiki Barber!. Through the wins and the losses. GO BIG BLUE!!!!!

Despite my New York upbringing I really like the Patriots because of the way the entire organization places the need of the team above the need of the individual player. In today's era of the self -aggrandizing player ,I find the Patriots old school approach to the game be a breath of fresh air.

Indianapolis Colts-When I first started to really get interested in football back in 2003 I was watching the MNF game between the defending champs( buccaneers) and the colts came back 21+ points in 4th quarter to beat them in overtime. The source has more info on that tight game. I live in San Diego, CA though

Gotta go with the Philadelphia Eagles. I grew up in Philly, live and breath Eagles Football. Always getting slack from it because I'm a girl too. I follow the team through the entire offseason and into training camps as well. One day we'll get our chance at victory!!!!!!
